Our Beliefs
At Berea Pentecostal Mission Church International, We believe:
- That there is one eternal God in Trinity:
- God the Father,
- God the Son, and
- God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians
13:14).
- In God’s perfect creation for man, man and woman, in his image, and all creatures,
and that there was a fall of angels and man, the result of which has brought pain and
destruction and spiritual and physical death. (Genesis 1:1, 26-27, 31; 3:1-19; Romans
3:23). - The Bible is inspired by God; it is the Word of God with authority and without mistakes, and it is the basis of our faith and Christian behavior (2 Tim 3:15-17; 2 Pet. 1:21).
- In the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth with Mary, in his sinless life, in his miracles, in his death instead of sinners, which reconciled man and God, and in his resurrection in the body and his ascension to heaven and sitting at the right hand of God the Father, and in his second return to this earth in power and glory to rule the Gentiles. (Matthew 1:18-23; 16:15-16; Mark 16:19; Acts 1:9-11; 2 Cor. 5:17; Col. 1:15).
- That the only way of human salvation from sin is to repent and stop sin and trust the Lord Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of his life and to be born again by the Holy Spirit. (John 1:11-13; 3:5-8; Acts 2:38; Romans 10:9; 1 John 1:9),
- In the healing of the human body that has been obtained through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, and that healing is received by the request of faith. (Isaiah 53:1-5; Mark 16:16-18).
- In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, together with the testimony of speaking in tongues, the seed and the Fruit of the Spirit are received by faith in accordance with the conditions of the Bible for receiving the baptism. (John 7:37; 14:16-17; 16:12-15; Acts 1:8; 2:1-4; 10:44-47; 19:2-6).
- The Church is people called by God through faith in Jesus Christ from the world and consecrated for him by being born again and united in the body of Christ, who is the head of the Church. The work of the Church is to love and glorify God and to preach the Gospel to every creature and to live in the hope of the resurrection of the dead. (Matthew 5:13-14, John 15:1, 2; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:7, 22; 4:11-16; 5:23; 2 Cor. 6:6-18) and calm.
